Hello,
My name is Coco and I am your host at Coco’s Homestay. On my first trip to India in 2015, I was already fascinated by this country and it was soon clear that I had to come back! Since then, I returned to India several times a year to discover new places. When I lighted on Udaipur, I instantly fell in love with this vibrant city, which can look back on an impressive past. Many times I came back and stayed in a random hotel. I missed a cozy interior, a terrace where I could sit the whole evening without having to purchase anything, a fridge for cooling beer or yoghurt, a kitchen to brew a cup of coffee or to cook dishes from my native Germany.
When this new house was ready for rental, the decision was quickly made to stay here … or at least to be able to return again and again at any time.
In December 2018, I opened Coco’s Homestay to offer other travelers a family retreat.
THIS HOUSE IS MY OASIS, MY HAVEN OF PEACE, MY LONGING WHEN I AM IN GERMANY.
Since I still have to work in Germany, unfortunately I cannot always be here.
Because of this, my friend Kesar took over management of the guest house.
He takes care of every guest – tirelessly giving advice, planning sightseeing trips, booking rickshaws and taxis, recommending restaurants or attractions, getting medicines at the pharmacy or accompanying guests to the hairdresser or barbershop.
THIS IS HOW GUESTS QUICKLY BECOME FRIENDS ….AND THAT’S EXACTLY WHAT WE ENJOY!
